Edelweiss flew to Canada again yesterday after more than two years. Traditionally, the flight at Zurich Airport was celebrated with a so-called ribbon cut.
Edelweiss flies to Vancouver on Sundays until the end of May. From June Vancouver will be served twice a week. Calgary is the second holiday destination in Canada to follow on June 12th. It will be served once a week in June and twice a week from July. With the start of Denver on June 13th, Edelweiss's North America program for this summer is complete.
Edelweiss is offering 59 destinations in 19 countries on short and medium-haul routes this summer and 19 destinations in 13 countries on long-haul routes. These include six short- and medium-haul holiday destinations to which Edelweiss is new this summer: Bilbao since March 27, Cork from April 15, Pisa from June 3, Bergen from June 4, Newquay (Cornwall) from June 3 July and Ponta Delgada (Azores) from July 11th.
