Edelweiss has added Zurich-Bari

On March 31, 2023, the holiday airline Edelweiss started a non-stop connection between Zurich and Bari. According to their own statements, they are heading for the Italian destination for the first time.

This event was celebrated with the traditional ribbon cut. Together with the crew, Andreas Meier, Head of Corporate Communications at Edelweiss, and Rolf Hancock, Vice President Aviation Development at Zurich Airport, cut the ribbon. Andreas Meier: “We are very pleased that with Bari we can expand our offer in Italy with a wonderful and fascinating holiday destination. Bari offers something for every taste. Fantastic beaches to relax in, historic buildings to admire or street art to discover”. Edelweiss flies from Zurich to Bari on Fridays and Saturdays – and also on Wednesdays during the peak travel season.
