An Airbus A320-200 of the Swiss airline Edelweiss had to initiate the return to Switzerland on flight WK-220, which was to fly from Zurich airport to the Spanish city of Seville. During the flight in question, the crew and passengers were struck by lightning, which resulted in the decision to make an emergency landing in Zurich. The return to Zurich took place 70 minutes after departure, and the landing went smoothly. The machine that fell victim to the lightning strike is still in Zurich after 48 hours.
