The Italian airline startup Ego Airways and the Greek Lumiwings will work together in the area of sales in the future. In future, the flights are to be marketed via the homepages of both carriers.
Among other things, the Lumiwings connections from Forli to Cagliari, Catania, Comiso, Ibiza and Olbia are affected. It is the first codeshare agreement that has been signed for both providers. The Greek airline increased this year into the scheduled business on its own account. For this purpose, a Boeing 737-300 was stationed in Forli.
Ego Airways is a start-up that is currently using an Embraer 190. There are overlaps insofar as this carrier has also considered Forli. Together, the two carriers want to serve the market better.
