Ego Airways has been back in the air since December 1st. The start-up is currently focusing on charter flights. But the first line connections are also in the starting blocks.

The chairman of the board, Matteo Bonecchi, answered questions from the Italian media representatives. Charter contracts from soccer teams are currently extremely lucrative. While the airline is still cautiously approaching, plans for the future are being forged in the background. Among other things, an early start of scheduled flights from Catania, Forli and Florence is planned. On this occasion, the fleet is also to be enlarged; the company currently operates a single Embraer 190-100AR. London City, Paris-Orly and Barcelona El Prat would be potential targets. When the plans will finally be implemented depends on the course of the pandemic, and how ch-aviation.com reported. It was not until November 19 that the newly founded airline received the air transport operator certificate from the Italian civil aviation authority.
