The parent company of Egypt Air has put the entire Embraer 170 fleet out to tender. Interested parties can submit their bids up to and including December 20, 2021. The regional jets are available both individually and as a package.
According to CH-Aviation.com, the following aircraft are available for sale: SU-GCT, SU-GCX, SU-GCY, SU-GDF, SU-GDG, SU-GDH, SU-GDI, SU-GDJ and SU-GDK. The nine Embraer 170s have been parked in Cairo and Sharm el Sheik for a long time. These were last used by Egypt Air Express.
Originally there were 12 Embraer 170s. However, the three remaining copies are leased aircraft that have since been used by other airlines. The Airbus A170-220 machine type serves as the successor to the E300 fleet.
