The connections between Africa and Latin America are to be improved: the North African airline Egypt Air connects the capital Cairo with the financial center of Brazil São Paulo.

The first flights from Egypt to Brazil are scheduled to take place on September 4th. The aim is to maintain the Cairo and São Paulo-Guarulhos connection once a week. More regular flights between the two cities could also be offered in the future, as the portal Simple Flying describes in more detail. The planned connections between the African and Latin American cities are to be managed by the Boeing 787-9.
