On Sunday 5 March 2023, a Ryanair-operated Boeing 737-800, registration EI-DCR, sustained a tire rupture at Eindhoven Airport in the Netherlands. The medium-haul jet was escorted to the parking position by emergency services.

Coming from London-Stansted, the Ryanair jet, which was traveling under flight number FR8282, touched down in Eindhoven on Sunday afternoon. The journey has been completely normal up to this point. However, a tire then burst. The cause of the incident is still completely unclear.

For safety reasons, the fire brigade and rescue workers were deployed as a precaution. However, these were not necessary and only escorted the EI-DCR to the assigned parking position. All passengers and crew were able to safely disembark Ryanair's Boeing 737-800. Technicians are now taking a closer look at the affected wheel.
