The African state of Namibia is relaxing entry requirements for tourists. From now on, the 3G rule will be applied, with tests only recognizing PCR results. Until now, all travelers had to submit a negative PCR test report.
In the future, people who have been fully vaccinated or have recovered will be able to present the relevant evidence as an alternative to the PCR result. However, upon recovery, they must not be older than three months and must be issued by official bodies in the country of residence. For example, the EU certificates are recognized.
The rule for PCR tests is that they must not be older than 72 hours at the time of entry and must be issued by officially approved laboratories in the country of origin. In addition, the EU test certificates are accepted.
