The Slovenian government is rowing back and easing its entry requirements for Austria.

There are no longer any requirements for travelers from Vienna, Lower Austria, Burgenland and Salzburg, according to an amendment to the entry regulations that came into force yesterday. Well, a little proof still has to be provided: The border guards must be plausibly demonstrated that the person entering the country has previously stayed in the mentioned federal states for at least five days.

The other federal states are meanwhile still on the “red list” of the state. A mandatory ten-day quarantine after entry, which may not be ended by a negative test until five days at the earliest, or a negative PCR test that is not older than 48 hours applies. There are exceptions, for example, for commuters or for transit traffic.

Vaccinated people can also enter the country without quarantine or a test. That reports the ORF.
