Railway strike: rail replacement service at the City Airport Train

Due to the Austria-wide railway workers' strike, the City Airport Train cannot run either. The background is that the ÖBB infrastructure is used and this is not available on Monday. A rail replacement service with buses was set up.

In contrast to the Railjets, which operate from Vienna Central Station and the S7 rapid transit line, CAT passengers can switch to rail replacement services. The company points out that the travel time is considerably longer as a result.

At Vienna Airport, buses depart from bus stop 1, which is in front of Terminal 3 arrivals. In Wien-Landstrasse, the vehicles are ready in Marxergasse, opposite the Justice Center.
