After the airline El Al has been almost completely on the ground for several months, the currently greatly reduced route network will be expanded from October 18, 2020. First of all, Boeing 787 machines will be reactivated. However, only citizens of that country can still enter Israel.

El Al will reactivate the route from Tel Aviv to Frankfurt am Main from October 18, 2020. Amsterdam follows a day later. Los Angeles and Miami will resume on October 25, 2020. This will be followed by the Sofia and Kiev-Borispol destinations on October 26, 2020. At the moment El Al only serves the destinations New York, Paris and Athens.

In a media statement, El Al insisted that entry into Israel is currently only possible for its own citizens. For more details and updates, passengers can also contact the Israel Ministry of Health website inform.
