No restart in sight: El Al is extending the Corona break by an additional month until the end of August. Due to the ongoing travel restrictions, the ailing carrier could not yet foresee when regular flight operations could be resumed. 

The crisis is causing financial difficulties for Israel's largest airline. Almost all of the total of 6.500 employees would be on unpaid leave, like jpost.com reported. It could even be that almost 30 percent never return to work. Talks with the Israeli government about possible state aid are in full swing.
