German MRO operation Spairliners and Austrian Airlines have signed a long-term agreement for component support for the Embraer E195 fleet. The agreement includes, among other things, access to the equipment pool and repair services.

“Spairliners have proven to be a very reliable and competent partner for us and we continue to rely on them to fully support our E-Jet aircraft fleet. We appreciate the flexible solutions and high level of collaboration they have offered during the pandemic and look forward to working with Spairliners in the future,” said Wolfgang Dielacher, Head of Strategic Technical Purchasing at Austrian Airlines.

Taco Stouten, Director of Sales and Marketing at Spairliners adds: “We are delighted to have been selected by Austrian Airlines as their preferred partner for component support of their E-Jet fleet. At Spairliners we offer our customers reliable and future-oriented solutions, fully tailored to their needs, on very competitive terms. Our contract extension demonstrates our commitment to provide the best possible support to Austrian Airlines during the pandemic with scalable solutions adapted to their needs and has strengthened our long and fruitful relationship."
