Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer and US aviation company Flexjet recently signed a groundbreaking agreement, valued at up to $7 billion, which is considered the largest contract in the history of both companies. Under the agreement, Flexjet will order a total of 182 Embraer business jets, including the Praetor 600, Praetor 500 and the improved version of the Phenom 300E. Flexjet also secured the option for 30 more aircraft and comprehensive services.

This contract agreement marks another milestone in the long-standing partnership between Embraer and Flexjet, which has existed for around 20 years. The order will almost double Flexjet's fleet over the next five years and underscores the company's commitment to further expand its global business and private aviation services. Most notably, Flexjet becomes the first fleet customer for Embraer's Praetor jets, giving the agreement particular significance.

A decisive step for Flexjet

Flexjet is a leading private aviation company, offering tailored flight experiences to business and private customers. With this record order, the company is ensuring that it will continue to operate a modern and high-performance fleet that meets the high demands of its international clientele. The expansion of the fleet will enable Flexjet to further expand its services in both the North American and European markets.

Flexjet's fleet will include a variety of state-of-the-art Embraer jets, including the Praetor 600 and 500, as well as the latest version of the Phenom 300E. These aircraft are characterized by their high efficiency, range and luxurious interior, making them a preferred choice for demanding business travelers. The Praetor 600, for example, is a super midsize jet that makes it possible to cover long distances without stopping while ensuring a high level of comfort.

Praetor jets: Embraer's technological leadership

Embraer's Praetor series is particularly well-known in the world of business aviation for its performance and advanced technology. With state-of-the-art avionics, great cabin comfort and a remarkable range, the jets offer an ideal solution for companies and private individuals who regularly travel internationally. Flexjet, as the first fleet customer of these models, highlights Embraer's commitment to business aviation, as the company continuously strives to provide innovative solutions for the demanding market.

In addition to the Praetor series, Flexjet will also add the latest versions of the Phenom 300E, one of the world's most successful light aircraft, to its fleet. This aircraft has established itself in the private and business aviation industry through its cost-effectiveness, high performance and versatility. The 300E version, which features several improvements in cabin technology and avionics, will offer Flexjet customers even greater comfort and optimized use.

Flexjet's expansion on a global level

With the huge fleet expansion, Flexjet will not only expand its market presence in North America, but will also have a much stronger presence at the European level. The European market, which is already considered a significant growth area for private aviation companies, offers Flexjet numerous opportunities to expand and diversify its service offerings. Flexjet will benefit significantly from this strategic fleet expansion, especially in view of the demand for fast and flexible business jet solutions.

Flexjet's ambitious expansion plans go hand in hand with Embraer's growth strategies aimed at becoming a leader in the global business jet market. With this order, Flexjet demonstrates its confidence in Embraer's technology and strengthens the long-term relationship between the two companies.

Another chapter in the partnership between Embraer and Flexjet

The agreement is another example of the long-term and successful cooperation between Embraer and Flexjet, which has already existed for more than 20 years. This partnership is not only of economic importance, but also a reflection of the close cooperation and trust that has been built between the two companies.

"Flexjet is a leading provider of private aviation services and we are proud to have them as the first fleet customer for our Praetor jets," said João Pessoa, Vice President of Embraer Executive Jets. "This agreement is not only a significant step for Embraer, but also for the entire industry, as it underlines the innovative power and performance of our aircraft."
