The Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer is developing two new types of aircraft.

The first, with 19 and 30 seats and a range of 926 kilometers, will have two propellers powered by an engine running on sustainable fuel. When starting and when needed, two electric motors provide support. The second is said to fly with hydrogen-powered fuel cells that drive propellers and make it up to 370 kilometers. With both developments, Embraer wants to compete with the car over longer distances, as reported by Reisevor9.de. The aircraft manufacturer has designed three scenarios with a view to demand up to 2035. The most conservative anticipates a need for 4000 aviators just by replacing old aviators and growth. A variant that assumes additional early aircraft replacement comes to 7000 aircraft. And last but not least, there is a scenario that calculates with up to 20.000 machines.
