A Brazilian cargo plane belonging to the airline Total Cargo had to make an emergency landing in Sao Paulo on November 8, 2024, after a fire alarm went off on board.

The Boeing 737-400F, which was travelling from Vitoria to Sao Paulo-Guarulhos, sent a fire alarm in the cargo hold during the flight. After landing safely at Guarulhos Airport, the crew evacuated the aircraft using an emergency rope from the cockpit.

Rescue workers rushed to the plane to fight the fire. Footage of the incident, which is now circulating online, shows the fuselage of the plane on fire. The incident is now being investigated to determine the cause of the fire. The incident has raised questions about fire safety and emergency preparedness in cargo flight operations.
