The Arab airline Emirates recorded a significant revenue recovery for the first half of the financial year compared to the same period of the previous year.

Specifically, the group of companies recorded sales of 6 billion US dollars within the first 1 months (April 30 to September 2021, 6,7). This corresponds to an increase of 81 percent compared to the same period last year (3,7 billion US dollars). The net loss is $ 1,6 billion compared to $ 3,8 billion in the same period last year. The company also has positive operating cash flow (Ebitda) of $ 1,5 billion.

The freight and handling business formed the basis for the rapid resumption of passenger traffic, the company announced. Still, there is still a long way to go to restore the pre-pandemic level and profitability of the company.
