The joint venture is called Kosher Arabia and is owned by both Emirates Flight Catering and the British CCL Holdings - half each.

At the weekend it opened its catering facility in Dubai, making it one of the first registered and certified producers of kosher food in the United Arab Emirates. Kosher Arabia plans to provide meals to aviation, hospitality and events customers, including Dubai Expo 2020, across the Gulf. The company started operations with a team of 20 culinary professionals, all of whom were thoroughly trained in the preparation, handling and serving of kosher food.

“From a team of seasoned, creative chefs to advanced technology and reputable partners, we are well positioned to lead the market and offer delicious and original kosher menus to our customers across the region. We will work day in and day out with the aim of offering first class services and products with the help of innovative and sustainable solutions, ”said Matt Rickard, General Manager at Kosher Arabia.
