Thomas Scheffl will take over the position of Commercial Manager for Austria at Emirates on February 1, 2023.
Effective immediately, Thomas Scheffl will lead Emirates' commercial team in Austria and will be responsible for positioning Emirates in all customer segments. In addition to all distribution and pricing agendas, he will also be responsible for the expansion of the Emirates Skywards loyalty program and communication with the Austrian travel industry. In addition, the native of Lower Austria is responsible for partnerships and cooperations in all customer segments as well as the development of new sales opportunities.
The passionate aviation fan has been with Emirates Austria since 2016. Most recently he held the position of Pricing Officer. According to the carrier, Thomas Scheffl has in-depth knowledge of the areas of marketing, sales, transport and logistics. He did his master's degree at the University of Vienna in "Business Administration", with a focus on marketing and controlling.
