The airline Sundair and Lübeck Airport have successfully completed the 2024 season. From April to the beginning of November, various holiday destinations such as Mallorca, Rhodes, Crete, Corfu and Kos were on offer.

The stationing of an Airbus A319 enabled convenient flight times, meaning travelers could depart early and return in the evening. According to Holger Conrad, Sundair's sales manager, the cooperation with Lübeck Airport proved successful, as it implemented all operational requirements well.

In 2025, Sundair will not station any aircraft in Lübeck for the time being due to a temporary shortage of aircraft. However, the airport is still planning an expanded range of group and special trips to destinations such as Lapland, northern Spain and Cyprus. Airport Managing Director Prof. Jürgen Friedel emphasized that new destinations for 2025 are expected to be announced in early December in order to continue to offer passengers a variety of flight options.
