The British government probably wants to put an end to the quarantine requirement. For the time being, the new regulation will only apply to England. Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland decide on their own Corona measures.

Accordingly, travelers from countries that are on the "yellow" travel list of the British government, such as Germany, will be able to travel to England again from July 19 without the existing obligation to self-isolate, reports reisevor9.de, citing British Media. The prerequisite, however, is that they can provide proof of a complete corona vaccination.

In the course of this, even Heathrow Airport in London wanted to test the accelerated handling of arriving travelers with proof of vaccination in a test run. Anyone who can show proof of full vaccination against the coronavirus on selected flights will be admitted to the passport control in a separate queue.
