Good news for Boeing: After a long time, another order is being received for the US aircraft manufacturer's crisis pilot. The Polish charter airline Enter Air would like to have two Boeing 737 MAX 8 delivered. An option for two more machines has already been negotiated, like Boeing communicates.
“Despite the current crisis, it is important to think about the future. Because of this, we agreed to order additional 737-8 aircraft. Given the stringent controls that the 737 MAX undergoes, I am confident that it will be the best aircraft in the world for years to come, ”said Grzegorz Polaniecki, general manager and board member of Enter Air, which operates a Boeing 737-only fleet .
In addition to this, an agreement could also be reached elsewhere. Because of the flight ban of the 737 Max, the carrier from Poland suffered financial damage. These are now to be compensated by the aircraft manufacturer. In what form this should be done is unclear, however, concrete details are not made available to the public.
