After Malta, the Finnish government has now decided that only people who have been fully vaccinated against Corona or who have recovered and are vaccinated are allowed to enter. However, there is a big difference, because Finland also requires a negative corona test to be submitted.
So-called “2Gplus” now applies if you want to travel to Finland from the EU area. Unvaccinated or non-convalescents are in fact excluded from entry - with a few exceptions. However, full vaccination or recovery and vaccination are not enough for the Finnish government, because a negative corona test must also be submitted.
This strict regulation primarily affects people aged 16 and over. There are a few exceptions to this. Likewise, the regulation does not apply to personnel in the health and transport sector, as well as to cross-border commuters from specific communities in the neighboring countries of Sweden and Norway, as well as to travel for urgent family reasons.
