The Ryanair Group is laying a Finnish replacement for the Vienna-Schwechat set Lappeenranta range on. From the beginning of December 2022, up to four weekly rotations to the capital Helsinki will be offered.
The flights are to be operated on the traffic days Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. As a rule, the aircraft types Airbus A320 and Boeing 737-800 are used. Malta Air is currently scheduled to fly on Fridays and Mondays and Lauda Europe on Saturdays and Sundays.

In Vienna, the Ryanair subsidiaries Lauda Europe, Buzz and Malta Air Bases. All three airlines have machines based in the Austrian capital. Most aircraft are operated by Lauda Europe. In the past, the Ryanair DAC also had a base in Vienna-Schwechat, however this was closed.
