There were water fountains as a welcome: yesterday, the low-cost Flynas opened the first line connection between the two capitals.

High-ranking representatives from politics and above all Constantin von Alvensleben, the airport manager himself, received the plane after landing. Because there was never a direct flight from Tirana to Riyadh before. The Saudi Arabian airline is now offering three weekly flights from Riyadh to Tirana - on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. An Airbus A320 aircraft will be used during the five-hour flight.

“We are proud to associate Riyadh with our capital for the first time. This is great news for both countries. Not only because the tourism sector will benefit from it - it also strengthens important economic relationships abroad, ”said Constantin von Alvensleben about the new route.
