Etihad was finally able to announce new partnerships with other airlines, including Austrian airline Austrian Airlines. These partnerships should be able to offer customers some advantages and simplifications, as Etihad explains.

The national airline of the United Arab Emirates, Etihad, has finally set its sights on establishing new partnerships. The airline has launched three new interline partnerships with Austrian Airlines, Philippine Airlines and Airlink. The airline was also able to announce an interline partnership with Biman Bangladesh, as well as codeshares with ITA Airways and Air Seychelles.

This partnership should offer customers some advantages and simplifications with regard to travel: Customers will benefit from better connections due to the collaboration. In addition, one only has to buy a ticket and check in once, while the luggage is checked in to the destination, the airline explains.
