As part of the European Bike Week, which takes place from September 3rd to 8th, 2024 at Lake Faak, a drone show will be the highlight of the event. The organizers are expecting over 100.000 visitors from all over the world. On September 6th and 7th, 2024, from around 21.30 p.m., around 200 drones will illuminate the sky above Lake Faak with a light and music show. This innovation represents a visual work of art that is intended to complement the previous highlights of the event.

Stefan Hölzl-Strohmayr from Droneline explains that the show takes around eight weeks to prepare and requires the coordination of around 500 batteries. The drones will take off from the shore and position themselves over the lake. The show will stand out for its combination of lighting effects, music and moderation and will offer a wide range of colors and patterns with 100 watt LEDs. Visitors can best enjoy the drone show from the Harley-Davidson Village in Faak am See. Entry to the show is free.
