Ryanair and other low-cost airlines are currently throwing single-digit euro tickets on the market on a large scale. However, Eurowings boss Jens Bischof does not think so. In fact, he believes that ultra-low-cost is “out”.

Opposite the VWF the manager criticized the current pricing policy of Ryanair and other low-cost airlines. Customers would now have different preferences and the run for the cheapest ticket would no longer be in demand. However, Eurowings is also trying its hand at discount campaigns. So you can offer discounts based on the temperature of the destination. These can turn out to be considerable, which in all likelihood could also be due to the currently subdued demand.
