Eurowings Discover: Finnair wet lease expires

In the 2023 summer timetable, Finnair will no longer fly the Airbus A350-900 aircraft on behalf of Eurowings Discover. According to their own statements, they need the capacity in their own route network.

There are currently three long-haul aircraft of this type in wet lease use at Eurowings Discover. A spokeswoman for the Lufthansa subsidiary confirmed that the agreement expires “as planned” with the change to the 2023 summer timetable period. The portal Aero.de initially reported on this.
