Due to a lack of demand, the holiday airline Eurowings Discover is indefinitely suspending the flights to Mpumalanga (“Kruger National Park”) that only began in November of the previous year.

These were so-called direct flights that had a stopover in Windhoek. These were offered since November 2022 three times a week. According to company information, the demand for Mpumalanga is said to be very subdued and the hoped-for development has not yet materialized. Therefore, this route is temporarily suspended. There is currently no date for a possible resumption.

However, the other Africa goals are expected to fare much better. In the 2023 summer period, Windhoek will be offered ten times a week. To Victoria Falls there are three times a week. Both destinations are in the portfolio from Frankfurt am Main all year round.
