After the Dusseldorf connection was interrupted due to the pandemic, Eurowings will start again from Linz to Dusseldorf in March. Eurowings thus connects Linz Airport with the German metropolis every day from Monday to Friday.

The route once served by Austrian Airlines was operated by the sister company until the end of October. At that time it was still completely open whether this route would continue to be offered in winter. In the end, however, the carrier went into hibernation. While Austrian Airlines previously flew from Linz with DHC Dash 8-400 turboprop aircraft, Eurowings relies on Airbus A319 and A320. The reason is simple: Eurowings simply has no smaller aircraft available.

The flight schedule at a glance

  • Mondays and Tuesdays: DUS (07:00) – LNZ (08:30)
  • Mondays and Tuesdays: LNZ (09:10) – DUS (10:35)
  • Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays: DUS (18:10) – LNZ (19:40)
  • Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays: LNZ (20:20) – DUS (21:45)
