Due to the corona pandemic, Eurowings will temporarily suspend the non-stop connection between Klagenfurt and Cologne / Bonn. The background to this are the entry and quarantine regulations planned by the Federal Republic of Germany from November 8, 2020. Carinthia is currently the only federal state in Austria that the neighboring state has not yet classified as a so-called risk area.

The last rotation for the time being is to take place on November 1, 2020. Cologne / Bonn-Klagenfurt-Cologne / Bon will then pause for at least two weeks. From November 16, 2020, three weekly tours - Mondays, Fridays and Sundays - can be booked. In December, the Eurowings flight schedule for Klagenfurt is currently like a patchwork quilt, because the frequencies and flight days are different week by week.

In view of the current political developments in Germany, which could be led by the government in the direction of a lockdown from the beginning of November 2020, it remains to be seen how long Eurowings will pause the Klagenfurt route. For the airport, the temporary setting is not exactly a pleasure, because with the AUA-Vienna connection, you only have one liner destination for the time being.
