The Lufthansa subsidiary Eurowings is following in the footsteps of the no longer existing carriers Germania and SunExpress Deutschland. The carrier will start non-stop flights to Lebanon and Iraq this year.

Beirut is to be offered from December 15, 2020 from Berlin-Brandenburg. This destination is also planned from Düsseldorf from December 22, 2020. Eurowings also intends to head for Erbil from this airport. Admission is announced for December 19, 2020. This is reported by the Airliners.de portal, citing a company spokesman.
