Eurowings Europe ushered in the summer season at the Salzburg base on Saturday. Among other things, the first flight to Larnaca in Cyprus was carried out. In the current summer period, the Austrian carrier has stationed three aircraft in the city of Mozart.

Vienna-Schwechat was once the Eurowings base with the most offers in Austria. However, they largely withdrew in several steps and are currently only active in Germany traffic. In Salzburg, on the other hand, they were expanding. Hurghada, the Canary Islands and Palma de Mallorca are also offered over Easter. The German routes to Berlin, Cologne/Bonn, Hamburg and Düsseldorf will be served more intensively again.

“In addition to the scheduled and holiday flight program of previous years, Eurowings, which will soon be stationing a third Airbus in Salzburg, is making people sit up and take notice with news from Salzburg. It's non-stop Scandinavia this summer, as Stockholm and Copenhagen are new scheduled flights! This means that guests can conveniently and directly plan both city trips and round trips from Salzburg this summer. We're already looking forward to this summer, because the Eurowings flights to the sun, beach and sea leave nothing to be desired," says Christopher Losmann, the airport officer.
