The Lufthansa subsidiary Eurowings plans to further expand its presence at Pristina Airport. Additional flights to the only airport in Kosovo are to be offered.

Eurowings Europe maintains a base on site. In the course of the opening of the Base in Stockholm-Arlanda a Pristina route will also be included. The offer from Kosovo is to be supplemented with further routes in addition to Berlin, Düsseldorf, Stuttgart, Bremen, Charleroi and Malmö.

During the corona pandemic, traffic to / from Pristina has proven to be particularly stable. At times, Wizz Air's Kosovo route was the only route that was maintained from Vienna. The demand is considered stable and high. Eurowings is currently the largest provider in Pristina.
