The Taiwanese airline Eva Air is preparing for the comeback at Vienna International Airport. Initially, individual rotations are to be carried out before regular flights are to be resumed from the end of March 2022.

On January 16 and February 6, 2022, the BR65 course from Taipei to Vienna will be offered. The respective return flights are planned as BR66 on the following day. According to the current planning status, no further flights are planned before March 29, 2022.

From this day onwards, there should be a flight once a week. BR61 will then run on Tuesdays on the Taipei-Bangkok-Vienna routing. The return flights are operated on Wednesdays as BR62 on Vienna-Bangkok-Taipei. It is currently planned that Boeing 787-9s will be used in a two-class configuration. Eva Air has not "disappeared" entirely from Vienna Airport, because in the context of pure cargo flights you are present around three times a week.

“We are very pleased that we can finally offer our passengers flights again after the long journey. With our very high hygiene standards and our usual 5-star service, we guarantee safe and comfortable flight experiences, ”says Eva Air General Manager Edward Ho, who is responsible for Austria.
