With the A4O-OCA, the airline Salam Air has put its first Airbus A321P2F converted freighter into commercial service. The machine was previously used by LTU, Air Berlin, Niki, Laudamotion and Eurowings.

The approximately 19,5-year-old aircraft was in the air with LTU and Air Berlin as D-ALSB. Niki and Laudamotion used the former passenger plane as an OE-LCS. Eurowings had registered this jet as D-AEUB. The current A4O-OCA was shut down from March 2020.

The conversion into a freighter took place at the Queen Alia Airport in Amman. According to CH-Aviation.com, the cargo aircraft was transferred to Oman on October 19, 2022 and has been in commercial use from Muscat to Dubai-DWC, Istanbul and Khartoum since November 1, 2022.
