The holiday airline Condor will have a new sales manager effective September 1, 2022. Paul Schwaiger will retire at the age of 68. Former Niki Managing Director Christian Lesjak will take over his position.

Schwaiger has been responsible for sales management at Condor since 2016. He previously worked for SunExpress for around 15 years. Christian Lesjak used to be with Air Berlin before he was Managing Director of Niki for many years. Currently, the manager is Senior Vice President Network and Resource Management at Finnair.

After Niki was handed over to Air Berlin, Christian Lesjak became Managing Director of the Austrian airline. Shortly after Stefan Pichler took over as CEO of the German airline, he was succeeded by Thomas Suritsch and Christina Hackl. Neither of them were in office for very long, as Oliver Lackmann followed shortly thereafter as head of the company.
