The Relay Shop at Salzburg Airport has expanded its sales area by 36 square meters and now offers a total of around 143 square meters for a diverse range of products. The renovation work was successfully completed on December 13, 2024.

Ursula Fürnhammer, CEO of Lagardère Travel Retail, explained: “We are delighted to be expanding our shop area by around 36 m² in order to offer our guests an even wider range of products and thus actively contribute to improving the quality of their stay.”

The expanded shop offers a larger selection of newspapers, magazines, snacks, drinks, souvenirs and travel supplies. New to the range are practical travel items such as neck pillows, chargers and umbrellas. A special highlight is the introduction of self-checkouts, which are intended to enable shorter waiting times and more efficient processing of purchases.

The Relay Shop is open every day and is aimed not only at passengers, but also at residents and employees in the area around the airport. It offers the opportunity to shop on Sundays and public holidays, stock up on essentials and enjoy a coffee after shopping.
