The FACC Future Team has won this year's WKO apprenticeship competition in the industry sector They demonstrated outstanding performance, thus underscoring the high quality of apprentice training at the aviation supplier FACC. In the competition, which attracted a record number of 822 apprentices from 90 companies, the participants demonstrated their diverse skills in their respective areas of expertise.
Fourteen FACC apprentices successfully participated in the competition, with five of them achieving the distinction of "Very Good" or "Good." Laurenz Hager-Roiser deserves special mention for taking first place in the plastics technology category. The awards were presented on June 24th in the Business Club of the LASK Stadium. This outstanding team performance underscores the high level of professionalism in FACC's apprenticeship program, which has already garnered attention in previous years through top rankings in the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber's (WKO) apprenticeship competition.
FACC CEO Robert Machtlinger emphasized the high value placed on apprenticeships within the company and congratulated the competition participants. He underscored that the FACC Future Team trains the "top talent of tomorrow." The company offers apprenticeships in various promising fields, including application development coding, operational logistics (from September 1, 2025), purchasing, fiber composite technology, production metrology (from September 1, 2026), information technology systems technology, design, metal technology/machining technology, and process technology.
