The domestic aircraft supplier FACC closed the 2021 financial year again in the red, but the loss was lower than in the previous year.

With sales of EUR 497,6 million, the EBIT before non-recurring effects was EUR 4,3 million. However, the result was reduced by one-off effects amounting to 29,4 million euros. The bottom line was therefore a minus of 25,1 million euros for the operating result (EBIT). This is based on preliminary figures from the company. The background to the negative one-off effect was a lost legal dispute with a supplier.

For 2022, FACC expects further positive development in the continental markets of the USA, Asia and Europe and increasing demand for short- and medium-haul airlines. Accordingly, the company sees itself back on course for growth and expects an increase in sales of around ten percent and an EBIT in the low double-digit million range for the full year 2022.
