FACC officially opened the new plant for the production of lightweight components for cabin interiors in Croatia.
After 10 months of construction, the new FACC Plant 6 was put into operation in December 2021. 15 million euros (incl. land) were invested in the first construction phase. The plant produces lightweight components for the cabin interior of business jets and passenger aircraft. The new plant was planned in close cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute. The aim was to set up a plant based on the most modern aspects of industrial production. "After the successful start and already more than 170 employees, we are planning to expand the plant to around 600 employees within the next four years," announced CEO Robert Machtlinger at the opening event.
