The Austrian company FACC AG has joined forces with 13 European partners in the EU project “Compass” to develop solutions for the recycling of thermoplastic composite materials.

The aim of the project is to produce high-quality components from recycled materials and thus make the aviation industry more sustainable. Funded by the EU program "Horizon Europe", the project is led by Profactor GmbH from Austria. The focus is on digital technologies such as a digital component pass that enables the reprocessing of old parts. FACC is pursuing the goal of CO2-neutral production by 2040.
