According to local media, the first incident occurred on May 10, 2021. In Peshawar, 24 travelers were caught on a flight with fake negative PCR tests. The fake test confirmations are said to have been so crudely forged that this should have been easily recognizable. The flight ban that has now been pronounced relates to the routes from Dubai and Sharjah to Peshawar.
