Oneworld member Finnair will later take over three long-haul Airbus A350-900 jets. The airline and the European aircraft manufacturer agreed on this. Finnair will save around 200 million euros in the short term.
Originally, the long-haul aircraft should have been handed over from the second quarter of next year. This is now being postponed by two years. Finnair explains that the subsequent takeover of the three Airbus A350-900s is part of the measures to ensure the continuation of the company.
