Oneworld member Finnair is now selling business class meals in Finnish supermarkets. The first dishes are available in a Helsinki grocery store and cost between € 10 and € 13. Reindeer meatballs and beef teriyaki are offered to start with.

The airline is trying to generate additional income with this measure. The next few days and weeks will show whether there is a market for this. If it is successful, the concept will be expanded and other business class dishes will be offered as ready-made meals in supermarkets.

Initially, meals will only be available in the Sivonen supermarket, K-Citymarket Tammisto, in Vantaa, just outside Helsinki and very close to the country's main international airport. Incidentally, the product is marketed under the name “Tatse of Finland”.
