Fischer Air, which had to file for bankruptcy in 2005, has been trying to get back in the air for many years. Now they are making a new attempt and want to fly from Czech and German airports, among others, in the summer of 2024.

According to the company website, the aim is to travel to destinations such as Rome-Fiumicino, Malaga, Lanzarote and Gran Canaria from Pardubice, Friedrichshafen, Munich, Dresden, Budweis, Vienna and Basel. The Airbus A319 aircraft will be used.

According to the imprint, the Hamburg-based A.M.F. is behind Fischer Air. Aircraft leasing Meier and Fischer GmbH. This is led by Vaclav Fischer, the managing director of the “old” Fischer Air. However, the IATA Twoletter code “FF” used in the reservation system is not assigned to this company, but to the Dutch Airshop B.V.
