After Italy, France is making it difficult for unvaccinated people to use long-distance trains and planes. The 2G rule is introduced, which means that people without a recovery or vaccination certificate are not allowed to use rail or air connections.

In contrast to Italy, local public transport is not (yet) affected. France also has a few exceptions that can at least allow the unvaccinated to travel domestically. The aim of the measure decided by the French Senate is that the radius of movement of the unvaccinated is to be severely restricted. In the future, access to culture and gastronomy will also be linked to 2G status.

However, the new regulation also has complicated exceptions, because these are primarily linked to the number of deposits in the hospitals. If these are more than 10.000 corona patients, the 2G rule should. But there is an exception to this, too, because if you have an important, urgent reason to travel as an unvaccinated person, you can use long-distance trains and flights on presentation of proof and a negative corona test.

Interestingly, there is a special regulation for people who have not yet been vaccinated but have already made an appointment. With their appointment confirmation and a negative corona test, they are allowed to travel long-distance and by air.
