The planned IPO of the Greek capital airport has taken an important step forward, as the Athens Stock Exchange has granted the necessary approval.

The government intends to privatize around 30 percent via the stock exchange. First there will be an offer to investors and existing shareholders. Attempts were made repeatedly to put the airport on the stock exchange, but the project was then canceled. Most recently because of the outbreak of the corona pandemic. All requirements for listing on the Greek capital stock exchange would now be met.
